InjaNation was developed to create a space for all ages and abilities to come to one central place and just experience the benefits of playing in a group setting. Opened in 2016, the co-founders noticed a shift in the way Calgarians kept active- less traditional big-box gyms and more boutique, concept-style training to complement their other ways of staying fit. With the rise of NBC's American Ninja Warrior, it was observed that the potential for a competitive space that supported an inclusive community and a return to the fundamentals of play was something new that would benefit individuals and families. InjaNation wants you to give yourself permission to play in an unstructured way, to be safe, sweaty, and smiling all at the same time!
