I’m Joyce Weinberg. I’m a psychologist, with over 30 years of clinical experience providing therapy and counselling for individuals and couples.From 1971 – 2005, I was a therapist at York-Finch General Hospital, which is now Humber River Hospital. My long hospital experience, including working with survivors of trauma and post-traumatic stress, has prepared me to help with a wide range of problems, such as depression and anxiety, relationship issues, couples and family conflicts, stress (including workplace stress), and chronic pain.
I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailored to the individual client or couple according to their problems, personal goals, personality, and available resources.
I also offer consultation, assessments, and treatment for psychological problems related to automobile accidents, workplace injuries, or disability.
