Bell Barn Society Of Indian Head in Indian Head

Description:
In 1882 the Canadian Pacific Railway pushed construction of Canada's first transcontinental railway across Saskatchewan. Before it reached the future site of Indian Head, a massive corporate farm was being built but a mile north of the railway right of way. Now, over 130 years later, technology has changed dramatically, and we are able to offer you a website designed to give you historical and current information on the reconstructed Bell Barn, a local initiative that preserved one of western Canada's most interesting historic sites.

Our mission is to foster an appreciation and natural curiosity within a learner friendly environment by instilling in others the desire to preserve our past for our future generations.
