Once glued down and finished onsite the floor turns into a completely enclosed unit, and treated with a water-based urethane. Most competitors aren't using this solid cork and leaving the floating the cork on top of compressed paper, which expands and buckles in moisture, making it inappropriate for bathrooms & kitchens.
