Hi, I'm Dave!
I started Dozy in 2016 when I was 19 years old after working at the family mattress shop in Mississauga. I realized many things about the industry and the way people were buying mattresses was changing fast. Mattress shoppers were gravitating to more simple laid back online options and I new that was the route to take. A more honest and upfront approach was what people wanted and needed.
While my parents were getting out of the mattress business I knew there was an opportunity for me to get back in and do things just a bit better! After getting in touch with a local manufacturer I started Dozy out of a small showroom in North York. Today we operate out of 2 showrooms, one in the entertainment district in Toronto and the other in Etobicoke. You can find me bouncing between both stores, and even on a rare occasion you can find me where it all started on the delivery truck. Doing what needs to be done to keep everyone happy
